AT&T Animation class (2023)

I partnered with AT&T to teach a beginners animation workshop to three summer camps. The ages of the three groups ranged from 12 to 14 years old. Given the technology tablets hold, I felt it was important to bring to the teenagers attention how easy it is now to create a cartoon and hopefully inspire them to express their imagination with this medium.

Taste of Chicago custom stickers (2023)

I partnered with non for profit Somos Arte to paint wooden boards as the Chicago skyline and at the taste of Chicago event create a table where families can create their own art work where I then glued them to the board after making them permanently fixed to the wooden boards.

Vans and Uprise Skateshop kids skate set up (2023)

Uprise Skateshop contacted me to help teach kids about how to put a skateboard together at the Vans Chicago warehouse. I showed what components are needed and how to properly put all materials together to create a functional skateboard. After the lesson, every kid a part of the workshop received a complete functioning skateboard.

Project Six Street art program (2022)

I created a four week street art program, teaching teens 14-18 years old how to spray paint, wheat paste, create toys, basics of drawing, typography, and I explained color theory. At the end of the program we created one big mural that is now displayed at Smith Park. This program was hosted by After School Matters and made possible by non for profit Somos Arte.

Secret Walls Kids Illustration workshop (2022)

Secret Walls contacted Jas’liadosa and I to lead a two team kids illustration workshop. We evenly split 6 kids into two groups and applied pressure to their art skills to draw whatever came to their imagination, while still keeping in mind their peers work to create a balance in composition for the full art piece. My team was on the left and Jas team was on the right.

Navy Pier Street Art photos (2023)

Somos Arte invited me to host a workshop at Navy Pier. The plan was to have photos of the city printed out that kids can draw on mimicking their own murals in the city. We had a blast and the kids were so proud of their art.

Snowball fight (2021)

Chicago winters are so cold. In order to enjoy the winters you have to partake in activities to create memories that make that winter worthwhile. I hosted a snowball fight with friends and people from all over the city. We had hot cocoa and donuts for those who needed a break
